Inner ear disease - chronic inflammation of the auditory canal: This disease can be treated efficiently with low level laser light for inner ear diseases.
Inner ear disease - Otitis Sklerosa: This is a disease of the middle ear (ankylosis of the ossicle joints) that can also be treated efficiently with low level laser light for inner ear diseases, as the low level laser light helps the ossicles to regain their elasticity and flexibility and thus improves their ability to conduct sound.
Inner ear disease - Condition after middle ear operations with enduring inner ear complaints: This clinical picture can be treated efficiently with low level laser light, too.
Inner ear disease - Condition after operations of the acoustic nerve with enduring inner ear complaints: This clinical picture can also be treated efficiently with low level laser light.
Inner ear disease - Infantile bradyacusia (for example, condition after meningitis) and pronounced adult bradyacusia: On account of the results reached so far and the fundamental biostimulative effect of low level laser light it is justified to attempt a therapy in the case of these grave clinical pictures as well.
I`d like to add that the same is true for patients awaiting a final operation such as the implantation of an hearing aid; these persons should have the opportunity of an atraumatical low level laser therapy, too.
