In the autumn of 2003 I noticed a sudden pressure in my left ear. It felt like the ear was closing up, perhaps similar to the way ears feel when driving down a mountain quickly, only more intense. In addition to the pressure, I experienced a loss of hearing and several hours later a rushing sound. I immediately went to see an ENT-specialist, who recommended an infusion therapy. In total I had 25 infusions. However, I noticed no improvement. In fact, quite the contrary. I had the feeling as if the left side of my face and head were no longer part of me. I could not drive, could not think clearly and could not concentrate any more. I received Dr Wilden’s contact details from one of my neighbours who had been treated successfully by him.

After the first therapy session I was able to think more clearly again and the feeling as if the left side of my face and head did not belong to me disappeared. Initially I went to see Dr Wilden twice a week, and then once a week. Step by step the pressure in my ear eased off and the tinnitus became more bearable and less troubling. Today, 13 months on, I have reached the stage where I sometimes completely forget about the tinnitus. I am still sensitive to changes in the weather, but without being troubled by it. I am very pleased that I found out about Dr Wilden and high dosage Low Level Laser Therapy by Dr Wilden®. The enormous reduction in my hearing capacity has improved, but I am still not entirely comfortable when I am in a crowd. Consequently, every so often (usually once every two months) I return to Dr Wilden for follow-on therapy.
