I suffered acute hearing losses in my left ear on four occasions since 1996. After the first time, I could no longer hear in my left ear. I experienced a strong pressure the ear and began suffering from dizziness. Eventually, my condition improved. However, in 1997 and 1999 things got worse again. I now know that I suffered two further minor acute hearing losses. In 2001 I experienced a massive worsening in my condition. I lost all my hearing and I felt dizzy again. An ENT-specialist diagnosed my condition as a sinus infection and treated it accordingly. The treatment and the antibiotics he prescribed were not effective. I went to see my General Practitioner, who transferred me to hospital. I was then treated for 10 days with cortisone and trental infusions. My condition improved slightly, but I continued to suffer from serious tinnitus, permanent dizziness and a reduced hearing capacity. As a form of self-help, I began putting cotton wool and ear plugs into my ear. My doctors took the view that this would make no difference. However, I continued to protect my ears, as somehow it felt right to do so. During this time I was told by my doctors on several occasions that my condition could not be treated and that I would have to learn to live with it. In desperation I began searching the Internet and I found out about Dr Wilden. Since then things have looked up.

In the summer of 2001 I attended Dr Wilden’s practice in Bad Füssing for the first time. I decided to have a 10-day therapy. For the first time I got the impression I had met a competent doctor who knew how to treat my condition. His explanations were made a lot of sense to me and corresponded with my own experiences. He was also the only doctor who took the view that protecting my ears was a good idea. He immediately gave me a pair of ear plugs to take with me. From the outset, the therapy was very pleasant. Not just for me as an individual, but also for my troubled ear. The tinnitus quickly became milder, the pressure in my ear began to ease off and my hearing capacity slowly started to increase. The 10-day therapy was very good for me. On the last day Dr Wilden conducted audiometric testing on my ear, which showed significant improvements. The improvements continued by themselves for months after the therapy. I have also not felt dizzy since then. The tinnitus and the ability to hear have improved continually. Nowadays, every so often, I go to see Dr Wilden for a few days of follow-on therapy. High dosage Low Level Laser Therapy by Dr Wilden® really has been very good for me and I plan to continue to look after my ear until it is well again.
